Powlison's article is indeed good but Brad Hambrick's article "Making Peace with Romans 828" is nothing short of a masterpiece. If you have ever had the "Bible band aid" of Rom 828 applied to a too-difficult situation or fear doing this yourself you need to read it.
The article, "Giving Reasoned Answers to Reasonable Questions" by David Powlison is wonderful. It includes an interview in which David answers a set of written questions posed by "Psychology Today," asking key questions about the entire school of thought of Biblical Counseling.
David also includes his own comments about the interview opportunity and how he approached it.

David's answers and comments are discerning, insightful, and winsome. His grasp on Biblical truth and its practical application are second to none.
He well-knows the human heart and its Maker, and is a wise and skillful servant at bringing the two back into fellowship with one another.

I never skip anything written by David Powlison.
